The British Veterinary Chiropractic Association (BVCA) was set up as a UK chapter of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. The association is the only one of its kind in the UK in that it consists of both veterinarians and qualified practitioners of chiropractic involved in animal chiropractic.
We believe the BVCA / IVCA helps to ensure the highest standard of those involved in the profession of animal chiropractic. All members have completed training at an approved educational institute and then undergone independent assessment (practical and written). Completing the certification examinations rather than the testing carried out by the educational institutions alone means that students have been externally assessed and approved.
The BVCA has a management committee comprised of both qualified practitioners of chiropractic and veterinary medicine who are all in practice. The committee aim to promote the profession and organise events for UK based CE / CPD on an annual basis.
